Victorian Government Gazette 1851. 1851. Government Gazettes are a unique, useful and extremely fascinating resource for local, family and social historians and researchers in other fields throughout Australia. The Victorian Government Gazette for 1851 was the first for that colony, and started half way through the year. Before this there were several years of Port Phillip Gazettes.
